He died July 18, 1994, at Wetumka. Funeral services were held at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Richmond CARR and Rev. Chris HARJO officiating. Pallbearers were his nephews. Interment was in Hillabee Cemetery. He attended Euchee Boarding School in Sapulpa and Jones Academy in Hartshorne. He worked for the Muscogee Nation dairy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Millie Roberts FIELDS; and a sister, Amanda DEERE. His survivors include his two sons, Richard Allen FIELDS of Holdenville, and James Allen FIELDS of Oklahoma City; one brother, David LONG of Okemah; three sisters, Nancy HICKS of Okemah, and Rose FIELDS and Bessie NEVAQUAYA, both of Morris; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
