He died December 25, 1993,, in Lancaster TX. Funeral services were held December 31 at the Merritt Cottage Chapel. Interment was in the Weogufkee Cemetery. He was a mechanic and the son of Edmond and Louise Deere HICKS, both deceased. He was married to Liza Mae HICKS February 17, 1967. She survives. He also was survived by his daughter, Diane Denise HICKS of Henryetta; his son, Leo Lee HICKS, Jr., of Henryetta; sister, Annette MILLER of Checotah; two grandchildren, seven nieces, and five nephews.
