He died December 15, 1993. Funeral services were held December 17 at First Indian Baptist Church of Moore, where he was a member. Rev. Victor COPE officiated the service. Pallbearers were Thomas FIXICO, Howard HANEY, Allen MOUSE, Robert COWAN, James COWAN, and Larry GOODWIN. Interment was in the Seminole Hitchitee Cemetery. He was a musician and singer with the bands Featherwing and Bo Dock. He also sang with Berryhill’s Quartet. He died of injuries sustained in an automobile-pedestrian accident. He was survived by his wife, Bobbie HANEY of Shawnee; stepdaughter, Stephanie of the home; sisters, Alice PORTER of Shawnee, Kissie MOUSE of Mustang, Madeline AMOS of Oklahoma City, and Ruth HANEY of Tulsa; and his brother, Thomas FIXICO.
