He died March 29, 1994, at his home. Funeral services were held April 1 at the Simons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bunny HILL officiating. Pallbearers were Kenneth TIGER, George TIGER, Mathew TIGER, Dean TIGER, Claudie FIELDS, and Roley FRY. Interment was in the Harjo Family Cemetery. He was a member of the Yardeka Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lillie Simmer HARJO; and a brother, Eugene Hillis HARJO.
