She died December 13, 1993, at the Creek Nation Community Hospital. Wake services were held at the home of Hannah KNIGHT in Okemah with funeral services following on December 16 at the Merritt Cottage Chapel. Pallbearers were Joe HOLAHTA, Jim MCGERTT, Elton JIMBOY, Bob SHIRLEY, Joe BARNETT, and Johnnie WARRIOR. Interment was in the Knight Family Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, July and KeMary FIFE; her husband Wiley S. KNIGHT, and her son, Chester KNIGHT. She was survived by her five daughters, Mary PENDERGRAFT, Nora McGERTT, Birdie BEAR, all of Okemah, and Betty GRAY of Okmulgee; her three sons, Bobby KNIGHT of Moore, Walter KNIGHT of Tulsa, and Charles KNIGHT of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
