He died August 16,1994, in Tulsa. Funeral services were held August 18 at Shurden Funeral Chapel with Rev. John LOWE and Alfred HARLEY officiating. Interment was in the Arbeka Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a retired minor and a member of Arbeka Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio LEYBAS and Santiago LEOS; and two children, Raymond LEYBAS and Ramona LEYBAS. He is survived by his wife, Lillian George Albert LEYBAS, whom he married August 2, 1944, in Okmulgee; his three daughters, Daisy HOWELL, Shirley McKAY, and Bertha BROWN, all of Okmulgee; his six sons, Bennie LEYBAS, Jr., Wattie LEYBAS, Michael LEYBAS, and Johnny LEYBAS, all of Okmulgee, and Daniel LEYBAS of Singapore; two brothers, Manuel LEYBAS of Kearney, AZ, and Tachio LEYBAS of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Pauline LUKER of Livonia, Michigan, and Cecila CAMBOS of San Antonio, TX; and 15 grandchildren.
