He died August 24, 1994, as a result of an auto accident. Graveside services were held August 26 at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Rex VANN officiating. Pallbearers were Doug POWERS, Ray SPAIN, Jimmy VAN HORN, Jr., Tom NED, Chuck NED, and Rick BISHOP. He was an emergency medical technician for Creek Nation Community Hospital in Okemah. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lewis McINTYRE. He was survived by his father and step-mother, Raymond and Sioux VANN, of Grand Prairie, TX; his wife, Cherri Lynne McINTYRE, of the home; his two sons, Harlen Marshall McINTYRE and Marshall Carpenter McINTYRE, both of the home; two sisters and their husbands, Lisa and Roger MARTIN of Mooreland, and Teresa and Doug MARTIN of Oologah; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alan SCOTT, Marsha SCOTT and Michelle SCOTT, all of Okemah; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H.T. SCOTT of Okemah; two uncles, Frank LEWIS of Claremore, and Ed LEWIS of Watonga.
