He died January 20, 1994, in Shawnee. A wake service was held January 13 with funeral services following January 14 at Trenton Baptist Church with Rev. Sam MITCHELL officiating. Pallbearers were Henry HICKS, Thomas HICKS, Legus MITCHELL, Johnny K. MITCHELL, Tommy Ray MITCHELL, and Jeremy MITCHELL. Burial was in the Mitchell Family Cemetery. He was a laborer and served two years in the U.S. Navy. He was the son of Tony and Cilla Harjo MITCHELL. He was preceded in death by his mother and three brothers, Quinton MITCHELL, Jakie MITCHELL, and Joel Duane MITCHELL. He was survived by his father and stepmother, Jean MITCHELL, brothers, Danny MITCHELL of Seminole, Johnny MITCHELL of Norman , Jason MITCHELL of Shawnee, and Anthony MITCHELL of the home; sisters, Judith MITCHELL of Tulsa, and Tana MITCHELL of Shawnee.
