She died March 8, in Okemah. Funeral services were held March 10 at Springfield United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The service was officiated by Rev. Jerry BAKER, Rev. H.A. FIXICO, and Rev. Alvin DEERE. Interment was in the Fixico Family Cemetery. She was a retired cook from the Creek Nation Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene TIGER; a daughter; and her parents, Roman FIXICO and Louinie Simmer HARJO. Her survivors include four daughters, Eugenia THOMPSON of Schulter, Wynona TIGER of Los Angeles, CA, Beverly SWEETWATER of Corona, CA, and Ellen FORSYTHE of Mission Viejo, CA; three sons, Bill WOFOER of Okemah, Eugene TIGER, Jr., of Oklahoma City, and Christopher TIGER of Reno, NV; four sisters, Etta Mae FIXICO, Rachel FIXICO, Nakomis VELA, and Rebecca KINGSBERRY; and two brothers, C.M. FIXICO and Hiawatha FIXICO.
