He died January 10, 1994. Song services were held January 11 at Merritt Cottage Chapel followed by funeral services in the home of Elsie Lowery with Rev. Barney WALKER officiating the service. Pallbearers were Barney WALKER, Jr., Tommy WALKER, Allen LOWERY, Roley TAYLOR, Leo HARLEY, and Newman TAYLOR. Interment was in Hickory Ground No. 2 Cemetery. He was a retired laborer and a member of Hickory Ground Baptist Church No. 2. He was the son of Dick and Minda Harjo WALKER, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie May McNac WALKER; sisters, Ella TAYLOR and Hepsey FRYE; half-sister Minnie GRAY; and brother, Robert WALKER. He was survived by his brothers, Rev. WALKER of Holdenville, and George WALKER of Ryal; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
