He died January 13, 1994, in Ada. Funeral services were held January 17 at Wetumka Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Alex BUCK and Rev. Jim WESLEY officiating. Interment was in the Yeager Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Lesta Barnett YARGEE; and his brother, Roman YARGEE. He was survived by his stepmother, Winey YARGEE of Holdenville; brothers, Joseph YARGEE and David YARGEE of Shawnee, Tarpie YARGEE of Seminole, Henry YARGEE of Wright City, Robert YARGEE of Fore, Jack YARGEE of Eufaula, and Phillip YARGEE of Wewoka; sisters, Evelyn MCLEMORE of Tennessee, Bessie TALAMASY of Bowlegs, Rovena YARGEE and Josephine YARGEE, Both of Holdenville; aunts, Millie WESLEY, Lela BARNES, and Leanna MOON, all of Wetumka; uncle, Muncie BARNETT of Wetumka; stepbrothers, John KING of Tennessee, and Wallace SCOTT of Holdenville; and several nieces and nephews.
