She died August 4, 1995, at Creek Nation Community Hospital. Funeral services were held August 7 at Montezuma Baptist Church, where she was a member. Officiating the services were Rev. Earnest MARSHALL, assisted by Willis KNIGHT and Bunny SOWEKA. Pallbearers were he grandsons. Interment was in Montezuma Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Hettie Lena COKER; her husband, Lonnie BEAR, whom she married in 1924 in Okemah; three sons, Abert BEAR, Lucky BEAR, and Bob BEAR; and one daughter, Stella MUELLER. She was survived by three sons, Lon BEAR, Clifford BEAR, and Ashley BEAR, all of Okemah; one daughter, Pat NOON of Okemah; 34 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
