He died May 14, 1995, at his home. Funeral services were held May 17, 1995, at Hitchita Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Maxie ADAIR and Rev. Lamar KINDELL officiating. Pallbearers were Bobby DUVALL, Alvin POTTS, Sonny CARSON, Jimmy Dean POTTS, Joe Ray SPARKS, and Leo ALLISON. Honorary pallbearers were James HOGAN, Ed COOK, Willard CARPENTER, and Tom POTTS. Interment was in the Hitchita Lackey Cemetery. He was an original allottee, a retired barber, and a member of New Hope Community Church, and the Checotah Masonic Lodge #86 AF & M. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Walls FOSHEE; and three brothers. His survivors include his wife, Delma Smith FOSHEE, whom he married in 1928; one daughter, Norma WRAY of Hitchita; two granddaughters, Stephanie REED of Phoenix, AZ, and Sonja WRAY of Hitchita; and three great-grandchildren, Shawn WRAY of Hitchita, and Courtney REED and Brittney REED, both of Phoenix.
