She died August 23, 1995, in Baton Rouge, LA. Funeral services were held August 29 at the First Assembly of God Church with Brother Bill COVEY officiating. Interment was in the Lewis Family Cemetery. She was a 1981 graduate of Dustin High School and a talented beadworker. She was an employee of Sunland Construction Company and had worked for Wrangler and Creek Turnpike McDonalds. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul LEWIS, in 1989. She was survived by her parents, Flora LEWIS of Dustin, and Bunny LEWIS of Hanna; two sisters, Nancy HULSTINE of Wetumka, and Lisa LEWIS of the home; a special friend, Gus COX of Hanna; three brothers, Jonas LEWIS of Tucson, AZ, Randall LEWIS and Freddie LEWIS, both of Dustin; two nephews, Paul Eric LEWIS and T.J. CARTER; Three nieces, Elisha Marie LEWIS, Tina CARTER, and Misty CARTER; and one great-nephew, Keanon GILES.
