She died October 27, 1995, at her home. Funeral services were held October 30 at Broken Arrow United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Rev. George MILLER and Rev. Roy BIGPOND officiated the service. Pallbearers were Charles McHENRY, Ronald McHENRY, Eli McHENRY, Joe McHENRY, Steve McHENRY, and Harry PERRYMAN. Interment was in Vernon Cemetery, Coweta. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and held many offices in the church and UMW, both locally and at the district level. She was the last church mother and Rev. Newman Frank Sr., the late pastor of the Broken Arrow church, in her honor had designated May 28, 1995, as Harriet Marshall Day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnson and Susanna Carr MARTIN; her husband, Thomas MARSHALL; two brothers, March MARTIN and Joe MARTIN; and other infant siblings. She was survived by her daughter, Anna Mae GANDY of Tulsa; one brother-in-law, Freeman MARSHALL of Coweta; two grandchildren, Trenna Kay KAUT of Tulsa, and Dan Richard GANDY of Coweta; four great grandchildren , Erika KAUT, Stacy KAUT, Lora GANDY, and Ryan GANDY; three nephews, Carl D. MARTIN of Broken Arrow, O.E. JAMES, Jr., and Thomas JAMES, both of El Reno; and one cousin, Christine Wiley SMITH of Broken Arrow.
