He died October 29, 1995, at his home. Funeral services were held November 1 at Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence MATLOCK officiating. Pallbearers were Bob PINKSTON, Billy MELSON, Randy WHITE, Kenny HAMON, Bobby HAMON, Bob STEELEY, Walter WHITE, Murline FAIRCHILD, Gary ROBERTS, and Rendel WHITEHEAD. Interment was in Beggs Cemetery. He had been a lifetime resident of Okmulgee and worked at Bartlett-Collins Glass in the shipping-receiving department for twenty years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Annie Wright ROBERT; and his first wife, Emma Geneva ROBERTS. His survivors include his wife, Opal Cannon ROBERTS of Okmulgee; his son, Ralph ROBERTS of El Paso, TX; one sister, Lillie ENGLAND of Patterson , CA; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
