He died June 21, 1995, at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held June 24 at Big Cussetah United Methodist Church, where he was a member and a lay minister. Rev. Jim ALEXANDER and George MILLER officiated the service. Pallbearers were Eddy TARPALECHEE, Brian TARPALECHEE, Darrell TARPALECHEE, Tony BERRYHILL, Bobby JENNINGS, Buddy BEAVER, and Darin TARPALECHEE. No information was given on the place of interment. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Perryman TARPALECHEE; his parents, Nancy and Miller TARPALECHEE; three brothers, Martin TARPALECHEE, Johnson TARPALECHEE, and Yarme TARPALECHEE; and daughter, Yannah TARPALECHEE. His survivors include his other four daughters, Twyla BEAVER of Henryetta, Cheryl GRAYSON of Beggs, Henrietta TARPALECHEE of Morris, Teresa JENNINGS of Okmulgee and her husband, Bobby JENNINGS; his two sons, Edward TARPALECHEE and his wife, Rowena, and Yarme TARPALECHEE, all of Okmulgee; two sisters, Mahaley JONES of Okmulgee, and Mulsey LONG of Seminole; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
