She died November 28, 1995, at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home. Wake services were held November 29 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel followed by funeral services November 30 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church, where she was a member. Officiating the funeral was Rev. Truett JOHN. Interment was in Cussetah church cemetery. She had been a housekeeper at Northside Nursing Home. Her survivors include her husband, Lawrence WATASHE, of the home; her four sons, Michael WATASHE and Jerry WATASHE, both of the home, Richard WATASHE of Seminole, and Russell WATASHE of Okmulgee; her daughter, Vicki VANDENBERG of Kellyville; a sister, Stella BRIDGES of Tulsa; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
