All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ==================================================================== The Osage Journal, Oct. 1, 1948 Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers Pappin, 47, daughter of the late Arthur and Minerva Rogers, will be held in Las Vegas, Nev., Saturday. Mrs. Pappin, a member of the Osage Indain Tribe, died Thursday in Las Vegas followind a lengthy illness. She was born in Pawhuska on Oct. 30, 1901, and made her home here until her about five years ago, when she moved to Las Vegas. She wa a member of Pawhuska Immaculate Conception Church. She is survived by her husband Joseph L. Pappin and the following children: Roger Harlin, Betty Jo and Anabeth Pappin, all Las Vegas; a son John Harlin, Encino, Calif.; and a daughter, Helen Harlin, Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Randolph Rogers, Tahlequah, and Charles Rogers, Wynona, and a sister Mrs. Isabelle Lewis, Pawhuska.
