All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Los Angeles Times Sunday, 21 August 2005 THERESA BOYCE (April 23, 1916 - August 10, 2005) Theresa Madeline (Weber) Boyce, "Terri," has passed away in Santa Barbara, California at the age of 89. Mrs. Boyce is survived by her daughter Trina Lyn Boyce and Trina's son Paul David Farrell, and by daughter Linda Marie Newman and Linda's son Christofer Jason Newman. Theresa was the daughter of Philip Joseph Weber, Jr. and Margaret Marie Severson. She was the widow of Richard Godfrey Boyce, to whom she was married for 61 years. Mrs. Boyce was born in Perry, Oklahoma. She grew up and was educated in the Los Angeles area. In 1950, she moved with her husband Richard to Santa Barbara, where their two daughters were born. She was employed for 13 years by the Charles R. Hadley CO. in Los Angeles as a printer's proofreader. After the next 15 years at home raising her children, Mrs. Boyce worked part time at the Santa Barbara News-Press for 3 years, was a real estate agent for 3 years, and worked in both public relations and graduate placement at the Brooks Institute of Photography for 8 years. She retired in 1981. Mrs. Boyce was interested and active in civic affairs both local and national. She was a member for many years of the National Federation of Republican Women. She was also active in the Hope School PTA and in animal rights causes. At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Anyone wishing to do so may remember her by contributing to the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. Theresa was a warm caring woman who always saw the best in people.
