Nowata Oklahoma: Approx. 1 mile south of Nowata off highway 169. Turn right (West) on road 25. Drive approx.1 mile/ turn left (south) & go until you see the 2nd black mailbox on the right. Turn right and drive approx. ¼ mile where it deadends. The cemetery is at the top of the hill and has a beautiful view. The area is called Inspirtational Point. Taylor Cemetery was dedicated August 11, 1905 on the John Forsythe farm," occupied by John Sigler. Rev. Lamb officated 3:00 Sunday Afternoon. They had dinner and a program. This cemetery was canvassed by Jeannie Inman & Elsie Berg. It has been submitted for online use with their permission. Most of these graves do not have headstones at all. It was also convased by James W. & Alice Tyner in 1969-- 24 graves those graves have {* a bracket & asterick to indicate their records ** astericks indicate records taken from the 1898 diary of Elizabeth Taylor wife of G.W. Taylor. Her records also indicate the orginial name of the cemetery was "Glendale Cemetery".
