Green Funeral services for Betty M. Green, 73, will be held Thurs., May 27 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Green officiating and Rev. Betty Wideman assisting. She died Tues., May 25 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Dec. 8, 1925, in Paden to Ovid Cook and Maude Loftis, she and Cecil Raymond Green married in Okemah in 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1973. She lived in Okemah most of her life and graduated with honors from Okemah High School. She attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a devoted mother. Also preceding her in death were two sisters and one grandchild. Survivors include three sons, Jerry and Virginia Green of Holdenville, Rev. Jim and Debbie Green of Duncan, and Jon Green of Seminole; four daughters, Janice and Robert Nail of Okemah, Judy and James Ipock of Seminole, Jeannie and Hobert Dennis of Okemah and Joy Green and Evert Smith, also of Okemah; one sister, Mildred C. Monday of Ft. Worth, Tex.; 16 grandchildren; eight great- grandchidren and lots of wonderful friends. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Willis and Doyle Donaghe. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
