Hill Former State Rep. Bennie F. Hill died April 30, 1990. He was 82. Hill, a Waldron, Ark., native, first came to Oklahoma by covered wagon when he was 7. He served as Okfuskee County sheriff in the 1930s and served four terms as a Democratic state representative in the 1950s. Hill owned Bennie’s Meat Market and Hill’s IGA and retired as a butcher. He was a member of Midway Church of Christ in Paden and former Okfuskee County School Board member. Survivors include his wife, Alecia Hill, of the home; stepmother, Ora Hill, Okemah; daughters, Marylin Early, Okemah, and Mrs. Bill (Diann) Biles, Tulsa; stepbrothers, Kenneth Slusher, Tulsa, and Bennie Slusher, Konowa; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
