Born May 15, 1908 in Van Buren, Ark. she was a longstanding member of PEO and the King’s Daughters. She was also a 1924 graduate of Okemah High School and a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, J. Walter Long, Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Judith Long; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Tex.
