Carl Clay officiating. She died Sat., May 15 in Okemah. Born Nov. 30, 1903 in Quitman, Tex., Woods County, to Henry Slatter and Ethel Cox, she was a homemaker and a member of Midway Christian Church of Paden. She had lived in and around Okfuskee County all of her life. Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry McClain; one daughter, Margaret McClain and one grandson. Survivors include one son, Bill and wife, Dorthy of Castle; two sisters, Pauline Wilson of Modesto, Calif. and Louise Brimn of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Interment was under the director of Schumacher Funeral Home.
