Ramsey January 1, 1909 - April 19, 1990 Eular M. Ramsey was born on January 1, 1909 in Marengo County, Alabama to the union of June and Clara Marzett. She was the second of thirteen children born to this union. At an early age, her family moved to Oklahoma, where she accepted Christ at Valley Grove Baptist Church. She attended schools in Oklahoma. Eular united in marriage to Irvin W. Ramsey, and to this union was born three children. Melvin (who preceded her in death), Clinton, and Erva Jean. The family moved from Oklahoma to the state of California, where her permanent residence became San Bernardino. Eular united with the St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she served as Mother of the Church, Trustee, and Member of the Stewardess Board. She was a member of the Clara C.B.S. Rising Stars, Chapter 227, O.E.X., Fresno, CA and was a past member of Ammarants Court, Daughters of the Sphnix, and Queen of the South. Eular went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 1990. Left to cherish her memory are: her son, Clinton Ramsey of Spencer, OK and four daughters: Erva Jean DeShazier of San Bernardino, CA; Erva Lee Martin of Oklahoma City, OK; Lena Mae Griggs of Los Angeles, CA; and Zella Martin of Detroit, MI; three brothers: Millard Marzett of Fresno, CA; Bennie Marzett, Sr. And June Marzett, Jr. Of Boley, OK; five sisters: Inez Bowen and Clara Bell Sykes of Fresno, CA; Alice Bell of San Francisco, CA; Euphene Tomlin of Boley, OK; and Dorsie M. Higgs of Spencer, OK; thirty-four grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Eular gave birth to three children, but she was a mother to all who knew and loved her. Loving memories will always remain with us... until we meet again. Interment at Childsville (sic) Cemetery, Boley, Oklahoma, Friday, April 27, 1990
