Sherman Hutcheson, Del City police, said Mrs. Neash's car, going north on Mickey Rd. slid through a stop sign on the icy pavement, and into the path of the oncoming city bus. The bus, driven by Earl Countryman, 56, of 812 NE 22, struck the left front of the vehicle...the door flew open and Mrs. Neash fell onto the street. Capt. Hutcheson said the rear wheels of the bus rolled over the victim. The victim died immediately. Hutcheson said Countryman told him, "It looked like to me she had her car nearly stopped...then she was in front of me. I tried to swerve but couldn't...."
