Allen Sr., Bennie W.

Bennie W. Allen Sr., 60, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 
16, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Christian Learning Center, 31st 
and Prairie Streets, Fort Worth.

He attended high school at Kirkpatrick and college at Texas Southern 
University, where he was a star athlete. Bennie truly loved God and loved 
to spread God's word.

His parents, Roscoe and Pearl Allen, preceded him in death.

Survivors: Wife, Twila; children, Bennie Jr., Bertram, Steven (Kiana) and 
Ashley; eight stepchildren; brother, Willie Ray; sisters, Myrtle Allen 
Shelton and Verna Allen; five grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; and 
numerous family and dear friends.
