All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Anglin, Hellen Porter Funeral services for Mrs. Hellen Porter Anglin, age 74, of Oklahoma City will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2002 in The Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Terry and Reverend Robert Sharry officiating. Hellen was born June 4, 1928 in Okemah, Oklahoma the daughter of Luther and Donnie (Simmons) Groves. She was raised and attended school in Okemah, graduating from Okemah High School in 1946. She later moved to Oklahoma City where she has resided for over 50 years. Hellen passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2002 in the Amberwood Nursing Home of Oklahoma City. She was a member of the South Memorial Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. Survivors include two sons; Gary Franks of Okemah, OK; Lee Porter and his wife Beverly of Oklahoma City; five daughters; Beverly Ann Welch her husband David of Blanchard; Darla Barnett and her husband Fred of McCloud, OK; Betty Lynn Merritt of Shawnee, OK; LeAnne Rodriguez of Oklahoma City and Misty Pray and her husband Lyman of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one brother; Burel Groves of Okemah, OK and one sister Bette Grandstaff of Drumright. OK. She was preceded in death her parents; three spouses; one son Herron B. Porter, Jr.; one granddaughter Melody Welch; one brother Euel Groves one sister Gladys Koske. Burial will conclude in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Resthaven Funeral Home of Okla. City.
