Arnold, 85, died Thursday, March 11, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Fuller, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sunny Lane Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Mr. Arnold was born in Norwalk, Iowa. In 1965, he retired as master sergeant from the Air Force after 25 years of service. He was in both World War II and the Korean War. In 1965, he moved to Hereford from Amarillo Air Force Base. Mr. Arnold was member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Hereford Senior Citizens and a former member of the Amarillo Bowling League. He married Bertha Vannoy in 1958 at Laredo Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Ruth Payne. Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mildred Bock of Auburn, Ind.; a stepson, Paul Post of Auburn; a grandson; and four great-grandchildren.
