Adams St.Clair was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. June 5th 1935, to parents Tom and Freeda Adams deceased. She was a 1953 graduate of Central High School, attended Oklahoma City University where she was a member of Who's Who in college. At OCU she met Glen, her husband, of more than 50 years and they were married on May 4th 1956. Nancy followed Glen to Germany in early 1957 and son Glen Jr. was born in July the same year. On their return to the States in 1958, she was employed as an administrative assistant for the Oil and Gas Compact, made up of the thirty three governors of the oil and gas producing states with headquarters in Oklahoma City. Daughter Michele was born in August 1959. A few years later, Nancy wanted to stay home more and she started to work for a good friend in the insurance business. In 1969 the family moved to Scottsdale Arizona where, as a home maker, she became active in the Scottsdale P.T.A. As Association president Nancy had her 15 seconds of fame when she appeared on the Chet Huntley National News. In 1982 Nancy was hired as secretary to the president of Phoenix Greyhound Park, Bill Gresser. She joined Executive Women International and worked her way through the ranks to become president of the organization. After retiring from the Greyhound Park in 1998, Nancy continued as administrator of the Phoenix Greyhound Racing Foundation until approximately a week before her death on October 1 2006. Nancy died peacefully, in her home, and is survived by husband Glen, children Glen Jr. and Michele their spouses Blanca St.Clair and Mark Meyer; grand children Andrew and Kassandra St.Clair, Jones Okla., Jason, Holly, and John Meyer; her sister Sue Moutrey, Bethany, Oklahoma; niece Kacia (Ruthie) Gibson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews, all of whom were very important to her. In addition to her family, church was important as well. She attended Crown Heights Christian Church in Oklahoma City and First Christian Church in Scottsdale, AZ. She is missed by all. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nancy St.Clair Memorial Fund, First Christian Church, 7405 E. Mcdonald Dr. Scottsdale, AZ. 85250. A memorial service is scheduled at 1:00 P.M. Friday October 20th, at the church.
