Margaret Askew, 74, died January 22, 2007 in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She 
was born on October 29, 1932 in Pepeekeo, Hawaii to Balia and Emilia 
(Fernandez) Miday. She was a resident of Camden, Arkansas (1975-1995) 
before moving to Oklahoma City. She is survived by her children, 
Rodney Rodrigues, Duane Rodrigues, Paul Askew, Annette (Rodrigues) 
Coston, Bonnie (Askew) Judkins, Jennifer (Askew) Tanouye, Peggy 
(Askew) Nakamoto, and Kathy (Askew) Racela; her sister, Caroline 
Riviera; 24 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceding her 
in death are her parents; sisters, Lucy Walker and Emilia Maffit; 
brother, Richard Miday; and sons, Allen Rodrigues and Jamie Askew. As 
a childcare worker, she had an impact on the lives of many children 
throughout the years, many of whom fondly knew her as `Miss Margaret.
` Services will be held at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Saturday, 
January 27 at 2:00 PM in Bethany. Her burial will be in Papaikou, 
Hawaii on February 2, 2007.
