All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 22 Mar 2003 Travis Dewain Bishop Jr. OKLAHOMA CITY — Graveside service for former Lawton resident Travis Dewain Bishop Jr., 59, Oklahoma City, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Rohlmeir, chaplain of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Mr. Bishop died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born July 24, 1943, in Lawton, to Travis Dewain Sr. and Martha Hayes Bishop. He grew up in Lawton and attended Central High School. He owned and operated Bishop's Deli at the State Capitol. He served in the U.S. Navy in the 1960s. Survivors include his mother, Martha Bishop, Houston; three sons: Shawn Bishop, Colorado; Travis Bishop, Texas; and Jason Bishop, Iowa; a daughter, Sheri Bishop, Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Anna Flaherty, Houston; a half-brother, Bill Bishop, Texas; six grandchildren; and a special friend, Vickie Piatt.
