All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Booth, Lynn Joyce Caruthers Lynn Joyce Caruthers Booth, died on February 25, 2003, after a long and courageous fight with leukemia and breast cancer. Lynn was born in New York City, to Allen and Florence Caruthers, on August 31, 1935. After graduating from Forest Hills High School, she continued her studies at the Traphagen School of Fashion and Design in Manhattan and at Queens College, New York City. She completed her education at Oklahoma City University with the AB and MA degrees. Lynn is preceded in death by her children, Pamela, Wade and Clifford, parents, Allen and Florence Caruthers, and sister, Enid. Survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert of the home; and children, Nancy Gail, husband, Charles Douglas Fountain of Kingwood Texas; and son, Thomas R. Booth of Woodward Oklahoma; grandchildren, Robert K. and Lyndsay M. of Kingwood; nieces, Karen Rossing, and Janice R. Caples, husband, Arthur, and son, Zachary. While Lynn had and enjoyed a noticeable New York accent, she prided herself as being a member of the Oklahoma '89ers Society thanks to her grandfather who made the '89 Run. Services will be Saturday, March 1, at 11:00 am, at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 13112 North Rockwell Ave., where Lynn was an active member. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, New York City. Memorials may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX., Mercy Health Center, OKC, Vista Hospice, OKC.
