Services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Woolard and Rev. Woodrow Cain officiating. Born August 26, 1893 in Texas. Mrs. Bell was marriedd in 1921 to Frank Bell at Crowell, Texas. They came to Hammon in 1921. In 1951 she moved to Clinton and to Oklahoma City in 1961. She was a member of the Sooner Baptuist Church, Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors are two daughters, Minnie Ella Bell, of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Vivian Thornbrough, Sayre; 6 sons, La Roy of St. Paul, Nebraska, J.C. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, F.V. and T.M. of Burley, Idaho; H.L. of Clinton; O.H. of Oklahoma City; three brothers, I.L. and J.B. Denton of Crowell, Texas; M.V. Denton, Maysville, California; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Priest of Lawton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Interment was in thew Sayre-Doxey cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
