Blanchard, Gloria Ann

Gloria Ann Blanchard passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2003 
after a brief illness. As a child she lived in Chicago and Minneapolis 
before moving and settling down in Oklahoma City with her folks, the 
late Dorothy and Lathrop Brown. Gloria attended the University of 
Minnesota and O.U. before marrying the late Dr. Ross Blanchard, an 
optometrist in Oklahoma City. During her marriage she worked in the 
business office at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Over the years 
she repeatedly sold more telephones than anyone else in the state of 
Oklahoma. Gloria was a member of Red Bud Woman's Club, Third Friday 
Book Club, Twin Hills Golf and Country Club and The Greens Country 
Club. She is survived by her sister Eileen L. Fee; her niece Kathy and 
husband Devin Droemer; her nephew Thomas L. Fee and wife Catherine 
along with their children, Sara, Samantha, Amanda and Megan. If you 
knew Gloria you know she never met a stranger and never lacked for 
something to say. She had a love of animals and a zest for life. 
Gloria will truly be missed by her family for her sense of humor and 
for being herself Private family services to be held.
