All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Cremation Society--OKC OK Beller, Louie Louie Beller, age 77, died at home, on April 15, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on October 30, 1925, in Tamaha, Oklahoma, to Thomas Ely and Mittie Carl Doby Beller. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after serving in WWII and the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He married Phyllis Jane Evans, in 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and moved to Wichita, Kansas where his children, Jefferson Evans and Melanie Lou, were later born. He retired in 1992 after 40 years with the Boeing Company, where his interesting and diverse career included an assignment at Cape Canaveral, Florida on the Apollo manned mission to the moon in the 1970's. He served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Cocoa, Florida and took courageous stands on integration and equality for all people. Louie had an insatiable curiosity regarding current affairs, science and history. Louie Beller is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Jefferson of Chillicothe, Ohio; and daughter, Melanie of Alexandria, Virginia. Other survivors include: sister, Carlee Wiley of Oklahoma City; twin brother, Leo Beller of Muskogee, Oklahoma, brother, Thomas Beller of Houston, Texas, their wives and children; and many loyal friends whom he dearly loved. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Louie's life, at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, April 19, 2003, at the family home. CREMATION SOCIETY 1145 W.
