She was born Dec. 31, 1904 in Franklin, Arkansas to Austin and Minnie (Boler) Billingsley. She graduated from Wayne High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. She taught elementary and high school for 6 years. She married Paul Berry April 12, 1929. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and served in the Bible school educational program. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Dr. Boyce Billingsley and Ed Baker Billingsley; and 1 great granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Paul Berry; 3 daughters and their husbands, Maurine and John Petersen of Cambridge, VT, Paula and Dennis Brown of Farmington, CT, and Carolyn and Lanny Hunter of Flagstaff, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Anita Billingsley; niece Carrie Peck and her 2 children; nephew James Billingsley and Lynn Billingsley. Services will be held Tuesday Aug. 6, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Mayfair Church of Christ with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mayfair Church of Christ, 2340 N.W. 50 St., OKC, OK 73112, or the Associates Appreciation Fund at the Fountains at Canterbury, 1404 N.W. 122 St., OKC 73114.
