All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Brake, Lillie Mae Lillie Mae Brake entered eternal rest on November 26, 2002. Lillie passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95 years. She was a joy to all who knew her and possessed a smile for all she met. Lillie was born in Coleman County, Texas, on September 4, 1907 to Robert and Alice Coker as the fourth of five children. She lived in Wichita Falls, Texas and worked at the Kemp Hotel for many years. She married Lester Paul Brake in 1950 and moved to Oklahoma City. Lillie was loved by hundreds of babies when she worked at Grace United Methodist Church's Mother's Day Out program for eighteen years. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lester, who died in 2000. Survivors include her daughter Betty O'Steen and her husband Burl of Oklahoma City, and a brother, Jesse Coker of Graham, Texas. Lillie was affectionately known as "Mamma" to her grandchildren who loved her deeply. Grandchildren are Dub O'Steen and his wife Suzanne of Spring, Texas; Steve O'Steen and his wife Nancy of Arlington, Texas and Jan Dailey and her husband Jim of Plano, Texas. Lillie has five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Resurrection Memorial Chapel located at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
