He was born Aug. 11, 1919 to Daniel and Della Bird. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Glorious of 32 years; 1 sister Joyce Daugherty; 4 living children, numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews; 3 step- children. Services will be 10:30 am Fri., Aug. 19, 2005 at Del View Baptist Church in Del City with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
