::Memorial Park Cemetery--OKC OK

Carolyn M. Baird

HEREFORD - Carolyn M. Baird, 85, died Friday, June 13, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery 
in Oklahoma City with the Rev. Joe Shultz officiating. Arrangements 
are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baird was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Independence County, Ark. She 
married Roy Baird on Dec. 11, 1938, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Baird was 
a secretary in the grocery industry and the American Lung Association 
for more than 50 years. She was an avid reader and loved cooking and 
sewing. She was a member of Crown Heights Baptist Church, where she 
taught the same Sunday school class for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Johnson and husband, Dr. 
Howard, of Hereford and Joni McClure and husband, Bob, of Oklahoma 
City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown Heights Baptist Church, 
4802 N. Western St., Oklahoma City, OK 73118.
