All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Resthaven Memory Gardens--OKC OK Brotherton, Ronnie Dean Ronnie Dean, a lifetime resident of Oklahoma City, passed from this earth on April 13, 2003 at the age of 60. He was born September 16, 1942 in Oklahoma City to Doris (North) and Robert Layton Brotherton. On December 22, 1975, Ronnie married the love of his life, Gerlinde Kuhner, and together they raised 3 wonderful sons. Ronnie graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960, and served two years in the U.S Army Ronnie was the owner and operator of Brotherton Automotive and tinkered with Model A's in his spare time. He was also a member of the Oklahoma Racing Association-300 Club and won the 1/4 mile championship in 1968, enjoyed bowling (and achieved 2 perfect 300 scores), going to the lake, working with purple martins, and was an avid snow skier. Ronnie will always he remembered for doing things for others and never expected anything in return. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife Gerlinde of the home; mother Doris Brotherton of OKC; sons: Arnie Iago & wife Robin, Tommy Iago & wife Jami, all of Newcastle, and Kyle Brotherton of OKC; grandchildren: Sean, Adam, Tyler, and Morgan Iago; brothers: Robert Brotherton & wife Shirley of OKC, Fred Brotherton & wife Reba of Wayne, David Brotherton & wife Lynn of OKC, and Randy Brotherton of Blanchard; sisters: Wanda McLaughlin & husband Howard, Pam Vinyard & husband Roy, and Dawn Gray & husband Steve, all of OKC; and many nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. Services to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at St. James Catholic Church, interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
