Brillhart, 83, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Brillhart was born July 10, 1920, in Oklahoma City. She had lived in the area since 1936, moving from Alva, Okla. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1938 and from Wichita Business College in 1940. She married Gene Brillhart on March 2, 1941, in Perryton and they were married for 61 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Skyview Sunday school class. She was a life member of Xi Lamba Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a member of American Legion Auxiliary. Juanita joined the First National Bank of Perryton in 1940. She retired as assistant vice president and executive secretary in 1990, after serving in the bank for 50 years. She continued to assist her husband in farming southeast of Perryton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar O. and Elsie Cox; and her husband on Oct. 16, 2002. Survivors include a son, Randy Brillhart and wife, Theresa, of Perryton; a daughter, Rosalind Shinn and husband, Rusty, of Lubbock; a brother, Joe Cox and wife, Carol, of Stinnett; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Museum of the Plains, 1200 N. Main St., Perryton, TX 79070; First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 987, Perryton, TX 79070; or a favorite charity.
