All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 28 Sep 2003 Dorothy Lee Bryan Funeral for Dorothy Lee Bryan, 68, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with family and friends officiating. Mrs. Bryan died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Henrietta to Bradley L. and Viola Marie Fears Mainard. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School in 1952. She attended Cameron University and Business College, Lawton. She was a Civil Service employee for the Field Artillery Board at Fort Sill. She retired in August 1996 after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Winnebago Itasco Travelers, Sooner Schooners Chapter, Green Country Chapter and Eastern Star Charity Chapter. She was a member of First Baptist West Church, where she attended Sunday School. She married Leslie Howard on Sept. 15, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Ron Bryan, Oklahoma City; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and James Middleton, San Jose, Calif.; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Jimmy and Donna Mainard and David and Tina Mainard, all of Oklahoma City; a sister and brother-in-law, Edna Mae and Miles Holden, Point, Texas; three grandchildren: Stefanie Snyder and her husband, Justin, Livermore, Calif; Crista Nicole Bryan, Guam; and Shay Marie Middleton, San Jose, Calif; two great-grandchildren: Madison and Hailey Snyder, Livermore, Calif.; and other family members: Robin and Flori Holden and their children, Bradley and Nancy Holden, all of Lawton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard David Mainard.
