Gibson National Cemetery--Ft, Gibson OK Brown, Patricia Ann Weldon Patricia Ann Weldon Brown, 73, of Oklahoma City and Palm Beach Gardens, FL, died Sunday August 14, 2005 at Mercy Health Center due to complications following surgery. Pat was born October 15, 1931 in Flushing, NY to Joseph F. Weldon and Dorothy McIntyre Weldon. She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-two years, Joseph K. Brown; two brothers: Joseph F. Weldon, Jr. of Downington, PA and Robert Weldon of Stanhope, NJ. She had seven children: Joseph K. Brown, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; Jessica Jacobs, Wichita, KS; Stephen T. Brown, Fredericksburg, VA; LeeAnn Granger, North Palm Beach, FL; Douglas Brown, Phoenix, AZ; Jennifer Brown, Austin, TX; Dorothy Brown, Phoenix, AZ and eight grandchildren. While her husband was in the Air Force, Pat devotedly accompanied her family on more than fourteen assignments in the United States and three overseas; England, Libya, and Germany. She did volunteer work as a counselor at a Crisis center and read books for the blind with the Oklahoma Library for the Blind. She was an avid watercolorist and a dedicated member of YANA. She will be truly missed by her family and her many friends. We wish her peace. Viewing will be Sunday August 21, 2005 from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, the family will receive friends at Vondel L. Smith & Son North Colonial Chapel 4-6 pm. Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, August 22, 2005 at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
