All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 4 Apr 2003 Juliette Louise Bourn Graveside service for Juliette Louise Bourn, 87, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Letitia Cemetery east of Lawton with Jim Antwine, officiating. Mrs. Bourn died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in Edmond. Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born May 31, 1915, in Oklahoma City to Edwin Van and Helen May Weiss Miller. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Classen High School in 1932. She later attended Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) and the University of Oklahoma at Norman. She married Cedric O. Bourn on June 2, 1939, in Lawton. He died Oct. 7, 1993. She worked for the federal government in the Department of Treasury-Internal Revenue, the Department of Agriculture in Oklahoma City and the Department of the Army at Fort Sill, before retiring from civil service. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Volunteer Animal Protection Society of Lawton. Surviors include two sons: Van C. Bourn and his wife, Gayle, Yukon; and Lee C. Bourn, Edmond; a daughter, Barbara E. Allen and her husband David, Brownsburg, Ind.; six grandchildren: Mark, Shelley, Grady, Stephanie, Tavis and Seth; three great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Joshua and Josie; and two nieces: Mildred Crane, Buena Vista, Colo.; and Patricia Hunter, Hominy. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert C. Bourn.
