Chaffin, Catherine Mae "Cathy"  

Catherine 'Cathy' Mae, age 54, of Norman, passed away August 16, 2002. She 
was born in OKC, OK, on August 12, 1948. Cathy was a member of Airport 
Assembly of God. She also belonged to the Central Okla. Classic Chevy 
Club. Cathy enjoyed collecting antiques. She retired from teaching in 
1996, from Moore Public School System. She was a devoted and loving wife, 
mother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents Rufus 
W. and Eula Mae Apple and one sister, Norma Cervantes. She is survived by 
Husband, Billy Joe Chaffin of the home; one daughter, Christine Chaffin of 
Moore, OK; one son, Billy Joe Chaffin Jr. of Moore, OK and two brothers, 
Harold Apple wife Judy of Del City, OK; Rufus Floyd Apple wife Maria of 
OKC, OK. Services will be held at the Airport Assembly of God on Tuesday, 
Aug. 20, 2002 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in
