Joseph C., a lifetime resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born July 7, 1932 to John and Mary Cox. He passed from this life September 13, 2002. Joe grew up in Stockyard City and later joined the military. He served in the military during the Korean War and was a member of the Chosen Few. Joe worked as a supervisor for auto remanufacturing. He is survived by his wife Mattie (Williams) Cox of the home: one daughter, Connie Pickle of Newcastle, Oklahoma; one son, Larry Eugene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Welo Combs; seven grandchildren: Michelle, Timmy Joe, Karri Ann, Bryan, Kelly, Sara and Danny; three great grandchildren: Kyle, Korey, and Katelynn. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 16, 2002 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
