All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Coston, Ida Agnes (Spell) Ida Agnes (Spell) Coston, 96, was united with her Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002. She was born on May 4, 1906, in Council Hill, OK to John and Dora Madee (Vails) Spell and was raised and attended schools in Jones, OK, moving with her family to Oklahoma City in 1922. She married Louie Buford Coston, September 28, 1924, and was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker for their family until his death in 1951, after which she returned to work to support her family. She retired from the Oklahoma State Board of Vocational Rehabilitation and Education in 1975 to enjoy traveling, hobbies, and special times with her children and grandchildren. As a continuous member of Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1934, she was committed to serving her Lord Jesus Christ in all aspects of church life, studying the scriptures, and sharing her faith with family and friends. Her hearts desire was for all her family to experience a personal relationship with her Lord and to have an unbroken family circle to enjoy Heaven with her throughout eternity. Ida was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Francis Barrett, Calvin, James Arthur, Jasper Richard, Alfred, and Gorbin Appola, an infant sister Doralee, her husband, a son Louie Buford, and daughter Dora Isabel Sweeney. She is survived by a son, Vernon, and daughter, Ellen and her husband Glen Howard, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2002 in the chapel with interment following at Sunny Lane Cemetery. GUARDIAN WEST 41 & N.
