All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Cole, Claribell Barnett Claribell Barnett Cole was born December 24, 1915, in Mangum, Oklahoma and passed away December 27, 2002, in Hillsboro, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eddie Barnett; husband of 63 years, Robert I. Cole; one brother, Doyle Barnett; and two sisters, Billie Hukill and Linda Rice. She is survived by one daughter and son in-law, Donna and Charles Scott; two grandchildren, Bradley Hargrave and wife, Kristi; and Emily Hargrave. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Collin and Brooke Hargrave; and a host of nieces and nephews. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and served Him through music. She was the church organist at the Greggton First Baptist Church for over thirty years. She also taught piano in her home for a number of years and was a member of the Longview Piano Teacher Association. After moving to Oklahoma City in 1987, she was the pianist for her Sunday School class at Village Baptist Church. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Dr. Floy and the entire staff of Canterbury Villa in Hillsboro, Texas for their constant loving and attentive care. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2002, at the Greggton First Baptist Church in Longview, Texas with Rev. Bobby E. Moore officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service on Tuesday. Services are entrusted to Welch Funeral & Memorial Center, 4619 Judson Road, Longview, Texas.
